“So my wife and I are staying in her parents’ South Shore home this summer,” Chris said. “They’re having some health challenges, and with COVID we don’t want them out there managing things on their own. Which is all great, fine, whatever. But then I decided I was going to mow the grass.” The first few rounds on the rider were fine, but then Chris hit a rock that shot up at a weird angle and broke his in-laws kitchen window.
“Thankfully, no one heard anything,” Chris said. “And the window is on the back of the house. But I needed to get this fixed right away, so I jumped in the car and went down to the local home improvement store.” There Chris encountered disappointment. “I thought I could just go in and buy a pane of regular glass to replace the regular glass in the regular window I had broken. That was not actually the case. The sales person – sales kid – was more than happy to sell me a complete replacement window, but I didn’t need all of that. I just needed the glass. And when I finally got them to understand that, they said it could be ordered, but it would take two weeks to a month!”
“I did not want my in-laws’ window to be broken for a month,” Chris said. “I was doing some research on my phone to see what my other options were, and got to South Shore window glass replacement. I gave them a call, explained my situation, and they told me they could help right away. I actually didn’t have to do anything except send them a picture of the window and give them some measurements. They were at our place right away and did the fix fast.”
“When you need your window glass replaced, call the best commercial glass company in town,” Chris said. “That’s my advice. It saves a lot of time and aggravation!”
