“When customers come to my salon, I want them to leave looking great and feeling great,” Sehilma said. “Every bit of their experience should be relaxing and enjoyable.” During the design process, Sehilma did a lot of exploratory work with her local commercial glass company. “The windows and door of your building is like the jewelry for your outfit,” she explained. “They can just elevate the entire look – but you have to choose carefully.”
Beautiful Secure Aluminum Entranceways for Businesses
“Obviously, the front door is the first encounter the customer has with the spa,” Sehilma explained. “So I want it to have my logo. I want it to have my name.” She laughed. “I also want it to function really well as a door. Many of my customers are a little on the older side. Sometimes they have health problems. I don’t want these ladies struggling to open the door and come inside.”
When exploring custom aluminum entranceways for her business, Sehilma was delighted to discover the design flexibility possible. “I am located in a strip mall, so there are some limits to what I’m allowed to do in terms of the height of the door. But working with my East Bridgewater replacement glass service, we were able to take out the stodgy black plain jane windowframes and a ugly door and upgrade them with a warm, inviting teal frame with tinted and etched glass in the windows. I had them done so people outside could catch just a little glimpse of how nice and relaxing it is inside, without making any of my patrons feel exposed or uncomfortable.”
Using Glass Partitions to Create Spaces within Spaces
“Because my budget was not limitless, I really appreciated when the East Bridgewater replacement glass service suggested that glass partitions could be used instead of walls to create designated areas for pedicures, facials, and some of the other aesthetic treatments that we do here,” Sehilma said. Each partition was frosted, with her logo etched out in the center. “It’s subtle but it has an impact,” she said. “Every where they look my clients know that they’re being thought about and cared for by our team. I think this elevates the experience they have.”
